Dear Mr. Brault,
Your quotes usually inspire or make me think, but this one struck a special cord with me. As a busy working mother I was usually multitasking and listening to my children with half an ear. One day my oldest said to me "I need you to listen to me with your eyes." She instinctively knew that if I was looking at her I was giving her my full attention. That sentence became the watchwords in our home whenever we were distracted and not fully listening to each other. The lesson is that we should never be so busy that we fail to intently listen to each other - listen with your eyes!
