Monday Musings #4

Perhaps you cannot make anyone's thankless task less difficult, but you can always make it less thankless.

To let no one ever know of your vulnerabilities is to let no one ever know of your courage.

Often, when we think of our journey to happiness, we think of the one-way trip we took to find it -- and of all the round-trips we've taken to keep it.

If man can create artificial intelligence, then God can, too, and, in fact, there is a well-known description of how He once did.

It is not the meaning of life we seek.  Life is getting the kids off to school and the dog fed.  It is the meaning of meaning we seek.

What you find, having crossed your personal Rubicon, is that you can cross back over -- but that is the direction where they collect the toll.

To know history is to inherit the ultimate "To Do" list.

You wonder if a pessimist gets satisfaction recalling moments of hope that did not fool him for a minute.
