Thursday Thoughts #2

Political party -- where people of shared values form an allegiance and then proceed to sacrifice their values to the allegiance.

A question likely to be heard on Judgment Day:  "You did WHAT in My name?"

Politics is always about what to do when the right thing to do is a non-starter.

In my loneliest dream, I am alone at a rail depot, having missed the last train to eternity.

A question I would ask a young person, "If you aren't planning to disturb the status quo, what exactly do you plan to disturb?"

Nothing spurs achievement like having someone in your life to astonish by it.

It is rare to find a successful marriage that failed as a test of friendship.

It is a bit too late, after you say "I love you," to start parsing out the promises not included.
